Wow, you know it has been a long time writing on the blog when your kids look noticably smaller in their pictures. We had some computer issues and so now I come to you on a new laptop with a goal to blog a little more than once every six months.
So... where to start? Things are going well here. Ally is in school and reading has just clicked with her. The other night she was reading before bed and I totally forgot. Around 10:00 p.m., she comes upstairs with a finished book. I can't believe that she read that long. She is so fun and such a big help around the house.
She has been really enjoying kissing a boy at school. I cannot put into words just how hard that is for a mom. I haven't known what to do. I have threatened to home school her (not my finest moment), change her class (again, not so fine), give her the talk (you know what I mean), and finally just laugh to myself and tell her to knock it off. I am a clueless mom.

Taylor is good, too. She gave the family home evening lesson on Sunday and told about the ways that we can help people. She made sure to let everyone know that she could help because of her long arms and her big body and fast legs. It was comedy. She and Bailey have become fast friends and it is fun to see them playing together all day. At this point, I am very thankful to have them only 14 months apart, and I never thought that I would say that.

Bailey is doing really well. She is sweet. Anyone who hasn't heard from me in a while will be shocked by this...yes, she is sweet. She is always helping. Taylor was on the floor crying and Bailey sat by her rubbing her arm. She always is right by me when I do anything and loves to help. She has about 100 babies that she hauls all over and loves them. It is so funny. She has the best disposition these days.

Kennedy is a great baby. She is so funny. She has the cutest smile and shows everyone her two little teeth. She has been doing this little army crawl since 4 1/2 months old and is finally starting to get up and crawl. She is pulling herself up and starting to get upstairs. I have to say that I am not happy about that part. I was hoping that she would stay put for a little long, but, what do you do.

Brent and I have been having some good times. We went to a fun party that our neighborhood put on. It was an Oscar party and the dress was Hollywood glam. I went in the most glittery attire that I could drum up and Brent went as Don Johnson (you know, Miami Vice). It was fun to get all dressed up and go out. The next weekend, I was in charge of a stake dance and so Brent and I got dressed up and got to go to the dance. You'll all be amazed to hear that BRENT DANCED! It was fun to get out and dance with him. It was so fun to get dressed up, but I think that it filled that desire to dress up and I will be at home in my sweats for the next year or so.

Well, I hope that this blog finds everyone well and happy. We love you all!
